  yes, but i'm specifically talking about the management of the checkmk appliance.

  While we like the idea, a REST API as suggested in the idea linked below would be the prerequisite. So there will be no progress on this in the foreseable future. However, the Ansbile Collection can already manage Checkmk, hosted on the Appliance. It just cannot manage the site itself.
