REST API: Return the ID of each implemented rule
REST API: Please return the ID for each rule implemented via the API
to ensure that further processing always takes place (Delete, tracing, logging, etc.)
Showing all rules and searching by text for the ID is no solution at all in 2026.
(Downtimes, Notifications, etc. in general at all rules we add)

Could you please specify which rules you are referring to (service rules, notifications, etc.) and clarify what do you mean by “return the ID for each rule implemented via the API”? -

The reson is that we need the ID for further processing, example deletions, changes, update, all where the ID is required to point of a specific implementation like rules, downtimes, etc. just look at the documentation for example downtime (downtime_id), notifications (rule_id), rule (rule_id), etc.
To show all and seach for something and then search for the ID is very failure driven and much simpler to solve with the ID we will get by implementing something. Hence with the ID we are able to directly address what we want to change, delete , update etc.
