Global Date/Time picker - To be used by Dashboards and Views
Implement a universal button to adjust the date/time filter with options such as Today, Last Hour, etc. This button should be accessible across all relevant views for events and dashboards. The primary focus should be on calculating Availability in %, similar to features provided by other monitoring tools.
Example:
Host View (Hostname, Current Status, Availability based on the global time filter)
Period: Last Hour
Server A - UP - 100%
Service View (Hostname, Service Description, Current Status, Availability based on the global time filter)
Period: Today
Server A - Service Spooler - OK - 99.7%

Stefan Kuhn MergedBesides the definable time windows (4 hours, 25 hours, etc,) it would be ingenious to be able to define a time range with date and hours or to select the desired time window with the mouse in an existing graphic. As I understand it, these functions are basically available in Grafana and as it was available also with pnp4nagios.

Andy MergedWith the improvements in 2.5 for more dynamic dashboards there is a change this can replace some of the work that has been done in Grafana in our org.
However we are missing a quite essential part: A filter for a timeline picker that will change all views/graphs in the dashboard. Today its possible to change the timeline with "left click + drag" but thats not ideal if you are trying to find an issue that ocurred on a specific time. -
