  Would be great to have the Updater and cmk-agent-ctl also compiled for arm.
  
  So monitoring ARM (RPIs and so) would be possible using TLS etc.

  This was split from the original ARM support ticket to clarify that there is a difference between ARM support for a Checkmk site or Checkmk agent controller (not the legacy agent script, which runs on ARM of course)

  Thank you for your idea. After thorough internal discussion, we’ve come to the conclusion that this idea is also in line with our long-term goals. We will therefore consider implementing it in a future version of our software.
  
  Given the scope of this idea and/or our capabilities, we ask for your understanding that we will not be able to deliver this in the immediate upcoming releases.
  As soon as we can commit to developing this feature for a future release, we will change its status to ‘planned’.
  
  At Checkmk we work on ideas based on business needs, customer demand, and resource availability. For strategic reasons, we reserve the right to re-evaluate the priority and/or scope of this feature as new information becomes available.   Hi,
  
  you can try the agent controller for aarch64 from now on. It is available in a daily build of 2.5.0 (go to download archive) and then download it via: https://hostname/sitename/check_mk/agents/linux/cmk-agent-ctl-aarch64
  
  We now only have to build agent packages for aarch64 additionally, where this is packages with the actual agent.
