Externally sharable dashboards
I would like to have a general basic status page for my users without login. I Am now using Uptime Kuma. Works great and I have done some tweaking like in the link below to get my BI Hosts appear.
However it could work better with a generic way of getting status. Another idea could be if Check Mk could have a simple basic statuspage without login.

Steffen Mueller Mergedlike discussed and suggensted by thomas lippert, provide some features to make the dashboards in checkmk being easily accessible by tv screens. like above mentioned, don't waste space with navigation uis. Maybe consider merging nagvis and checkmk dashboard options, since there is another request on rework the nagvis theme.

Niklas Pulina AdminThanks for your suggestion.
The following forum thread about public dashboard creation might be interesting for you, too:
https://forum.checkmk.com/t/public-dashboard/14914
For details about how to provide the credentials via URL, you might also want to have a look at our documentation:
https://docs.checkmk.com/latest/en/wato_user.html#_automatic_login_via_the_url
Please also note that you need to enable login via GET requests before you can follow this approach. For details, please see https://checkmk.com/werk/14261 -

Andreas F. MergedHi all,
I would like to have a public status dashboard, like https://status.zoom.us/ or https://discordstatus.com/.
In this idea you can select specific hosts/services to the dasbhoard. Purpose of this is: I want to install a monitor into our IT-Office to display the current status internally as simple overview (e.G. internet connection working, central services running, ...)
With multiple dashboards you could use this as customer dashboard like the links above.
The page should be available without login, but you can modify/create incidents after you are successful logged in.
That would be a great addition to the checkmk product -

FredrikSuggestion. Use Uptime Kuma or make Check MK send to Uptime Kuma. Do not invent the wheel again and use the best that already exists.

Martin Hirschvogel AdminHi,
implemented via Werk #19333: Dashboard: Public Dashboard Sharing
https://checkmk.com/werk/19333
Sharing a Dashboard: Users with the appropriate permissions have access to a new Share dashboard tab. As the standard dashboard experience can vary based on user permissions and contact groups, the public dashboard will rely on the data context and permissions of the user who shared the dashboard (issued or activated the token). To ensure data consistency, the sharing token is automatically disabled if changes are made to the dashboard configuration or its linked views.
Dedicated Public URL: A shared dashboard receives its own dedicated public URL. This URL is based on a token to obstruct information and is tied to an expiry date that can be edited in the sharing settings. Access can be managed by temporarily disabling or completely deleting the token. -
