Currently it is not possible to configure ldap settings via rest (bind, port, user_dn, group_dn etc.). Please made it available.

We are just copying the user_connections.mk to ~/etc/check_mk/multisite.d/wato/user_connections.mk. Not very amused about this solution.
Host and especially rules have been in some parts painful to create. However it is possible with ansible. -

AndyWould also like to see this as its currently a blocker in our Ansible automation to create a Checkmk environment.
Before 2.1 we where able to push the ldap.mk config with an existing connection but due to the password "encryption" this is no longer possible. -
