Service discovery: more flexibility - create Discovery View with "action menue"

8 votes

Right now there are 3 way how to perform service discoverys:
- host service discovery
- bulk discovery WATO - via folders
- commandline

We suggest to create a default Service Discovery View with an action menue to selectively choose hosts and perform specific actions on it.
All default WATO filters, hostgroups/folders/sites/check types... will work and you are able to filter by

Under the Topic "Commands" you would find the same or similiar parameters to choose from like in Bulk discovery in WATO (Screenshot) or similiar presented.
Difference mainly is, you can select the hosts!
- Monitor undecided services
- Remove Vanished Services
- update service parameters (why is it not called "Changed services" here?!)
- Update service labels
- Update host labels

This would give a huge flexiblility in environments which are not 0815 and infrastructure focused. Especially in the applciation monitoring space there are so many changes daily.
