Support for "is not" with host tag values in WATO host search, as available in views filters
Currently, when filtering hosts in WATO via the host search interface, it is only possible to apply tag filters using the "is" (equals) operator. This limits the flexibility of searches, especially in environments with a large number of hosts or complex tagging structures.
I suggest adding support for the "is not" operator for host tag values in the WATO host search, in the same way it is already supported in the filters used in views.
This improvement would:
- Provide consistency between WATO and the views system
- Enable more precise filtering directly in the configuration interface
- Help administrators quickly narrow down host lists by excluding unwanted tag values
Example: Search for all hosts where the tag criticality is not equal to "prod".
Thank you for considering this enhancement!

Luigi D'AcuntoHi,
Yes, exactly — I'm referring to the host search functionality described in section 8 of the documentation you linked: Hosts setup – Searching for hosts.
Specifically, the search available via Setup → Hosts, and then using the Display → Search Host menu.
Thanks for checking!
