Simplify Metric Data Retention Setup (RRD Configuration)

Simplify RRD setup to make it more user friendly. Currently we need to do some calculations to validate the amount of needed steps and the storage needed. This is an advanced topic and ideally it should be something more simple like an option to define the retention period that we want to keep.
