Auto-registration doesn’t populate the new host’s IP Address field

Currently when using the auto-registration feature it does not populate the IP Address field of the new host. This is a problem because we use the traditional method to collect data. I suggest during the auto-registration Checkmk detects the IP being used by the host and updates the IPv4 or IPv6 address automatically.

Paulo SantanaWhen using the Push Mode this might not be a problem but when using the traditional Pull Mode this is a problem as we need to adjust the Self-Registration rule to include the FQDN of the server otherwise we will not be able to perform the name to IP translation. Then it adds a layer of complexity because of the Agent Updater as in the execution of the integration we need to use also fqdn.
