Crash Report: Add Filter the the Crash Report overview
As of now you can't use any Filter in the Cresh report view.
You can't quickly see on which sites a particular crash has occurred, how often a particular crash has occurred and when the last crash happened. This is very impractical, especially if you have several sites and a lot of crash reports.
Also deleting a specific crash report after the problem has been fixed is very cumbersome without a filter.
A filter button is displayed in the Cresh report view but no filters can be selected.

Mathias MergedThere is no filter on crash reports. But that would be good to find something. (Monitor > System > Crash reports)

Daniel RoettgermannIn addition whats missing and would save huge amount of time in that Crash Report Overview:
The following columns (at least configureable)
- Hostname
- Check Type
- Check Item
All of course if available, depending crash report type
Maybe others have different needs so easiest would be to make the whole "Details Section" from the Crash Report it self available for columns to add/configure -

Lars Sörensen MergedAs you are aware, a single faulty check in Checkmk can generate thousands of crash reports within a short period of time, making the crash report view increasingly difficult to manage. Introducing a filter that facilitates the quick identification, grouping, and deletion of duplicate instances of the same issue would be an invaluable improvement. The fact that Checkmk has developed an internal tool for efficiently processing and analyzing large volumes of crash reports further underscores the potential benefit of incorporating such capabilities into the user interface.
This should be merged with the suggestion available at https://ideas.checkmk.com/suggestions/512043/crash-report-add-filter-to-the-crash-report-overview, as it aligns with the proposed improvements and would further enhance the functionality of the crash report overview. -

Daniel RoettgermannIn the meantime our friend Thomas created a working MKP which covers those features.
https://thl-cmk.hopto.org/checkmk/checkmk/crash_reporting
All filters are there and you also have a proper overview about Hosts/Services involved. Already saved us hours after the Upgrade to 2.4
With Over 1000+ Crash Reports we can confirm its a huge benefit!
He also created a pull request and we really hope it finds it way into CMK default views/settings
