Same report scheduler and recurring downtimes options
To automate reporting after recurring downtime of hosts / services it would be nice to have the same schedule possibilities in report scheduler and recurring downtimes (Attached screenshot left: report scheduler, right: recurring downtimes).
It would help to report e.g. automatic host & service status via Mail after a downtime based on a label/tag condition.

Les StottI would also like a little more options in the "repeat" options. Here is an example...
1
Lets say i have a virtual machine not running 24/7. Its running Mon-Friday for say 10 hours a day, off at all other times including the weekend. Obviously i don't want alerts for the time when its not running so i setup recurring downtimes.
I actually have to setup 3 separate recurring downtime rules to cover the above scenario.
First a week repeat cycle for the Mon-Fri for the 14 hours the machine will be off. This causes an overlap as there is no "Mon-Fri" option, so the week rule includes Sat and Sun.
Second i have to add a day repeat rule for Saturday from day X.
Thirdly i have to add a day repeat rule for Sunday from day Y.
It would be nice if the was a Mon-Fri choice and a Sat-Sun choice. I guess i could potentially do a 48 hour downtime repeat on Saturday to remove one rule.
also, if there was the ability to configure flexible or multiple downtimes inside one rule that would be good. -

JanAdding already defined Time Periods to be used within "Recurring downtimes for hosts/services" with a checkbox to have the hosts/services in downtime during or out of the selected Time Period might would make things easier for the comment of Les Stott.
