Custom attributes of type "secret"

There is only the type "text". But using secrets would be nice too. So secrets could be shown as "******" in the GUI.

Mathias, can you please explain the purpose of this feature request. What do you want to achieve with this?

For instance when integrating an external monitoring plugin script "nagios like", we can provide secrets using custom attributes. But if it's a secret, it should be hidden in the GUI (except is edit mode).
