automatic detection of an IP change
Sometimes the IP of a system changes. In this case I always have to run cmk --update-dns-cache. It would be more practical, if checkmk itself notices that a system has a different IP.

Robert SanderYou could achieve that with an alert handler that calls "cmk --update-dns-cache" every time a host is down.

zepit'd be nice to have a flag/option to tell checkmk to not cache DNS entries for certain checks. e.g. if you're using a provider that may move sites around and change DNS for you, but you'd still like to monitor for the SSL cert going out of date.

Christian FriedrichIn addition to what has already been said, it would be cool to be able to simply click a "refresh dns" button directly on a corresponding host down alarm.
