Use the nice modern Graphs from the GUI in Notifications
The HTML mail notification still use the old graphs instead of the nice modern graphs displayed in the CMK 2.x GUI.

Thomas Lippert AdminUnfortunately, this feature did not make the cut into the Checkmk 2.2 release.

Lars SörensenCompared to the competitors and in times of applications like Grafana and co. the graphs in the reports and emails just look terrible. And that's what most checkmk users/customers will mainly see most of the time when working with Checkmk and not the nice modern GUI.
Is this at least planned for the 2.3 roadmap or has it been dropped completely again? That would be very disappointing of course, because this request has been open since the introduction of the new graphs. And judging by the votes, many other customers also wish that this will be implemented at last. -

DanielE-Mails with Graphs right now (not even taking dark theme into account)
Also notice the different scale of CPU utilization Graphs in the same E-Mail - How to read the Per Core Utilization in an E-Mail? In this case useless data send -

Niklas Pulina AdminHello,
We plan to beautify HTML e-mail notifications in one of the next releases of our software.
We look forward to keeping you updated on progress.
At Checkmk we work on ideas based on business needs, customer demand, and resource availability. For strategic reasons, we reserve the right to re-evaluate the priority and/or scope of this feature as new information becomes available. We therefore ask for your understanding that we do not guarantee its implementation.
Warm regards,

Martin Hirschvogel AdminI split it so that it becomes clear, what we have planned (notifications rework, reports not yet as two very different parts of the product)

Martin Hirschvogel AdminHello,
Good news: We have started the development process.
So what’s next? Depending on the scope of your idea, this process may include various steps such as detailed requirements research or a specification phase before it is passed on to development. During this process we may contact you for further information.
Warm regards,
Your Checkmk team -

Martin Hirschvogel AdminHello,
we improved the email notifications. It was not possible within reasonable time to replace the rendering engine for the graphs in the mails. Thus this moves back to under consideration.
We believe that the new email notifications are a great improvement though.
