Enhanced Rule Information (Creation Date, Creator, Modified Date, …)
Hello,
it would be useful to be able to see who created a rule and who changed it and when.
At the moment it is possible to manually ad a timestamp and the creator's user id into the comment field of a rule. I also could use the audit log to search for similar information, but doing it so is not really user-friendly.
It would be better to generally add these information as meta data to a rule, e.g. below the rule id. Maybe this feature could be enabled/disabled via global settings.
regards
Christian

Dirk MergedIt would be very helpful, if the last modification date of a rule was directly shown in the GUI, when viewing or editing the rule.
In large environments, it can be next to impossible to find out via audit log or git, when a rule was last changed, especially, if it was a long time ago. Knowing how long the rule has been in its current form, can be important to anaylze, why certain alerts did or did not appear. Unfortunately, the date of the last change is stored in the rules.mk configuration file, either, so it can be very difficult to find out. -
